Relaxation in lockdown does not mean violation of rules, must adopt social distancing: Dr. Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi (Media Bureau) Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan says that the lockdown has been increased by keeping the balance between health and economy. Meanwhile, everyone still needs to follow social distancing.

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan held a review meeting with officials in Delhi on Tuesday. During this time, there was talk about the upcoming challenges like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, apart from the corona virus.

Regarding the relaxation given in Lockdown 3.0, the Health Minister said that if some exemption has been given in some parts of the country, it does not mean that the rule will not be followed. Everyone has to follow social distancing and wear masks. Health Minister said that unless there is no vaccine, then similar measures will have to be done.

To increase the lockdown, the Health Minister said that along with the economy, the health of the people is also important, in such a situation, some relief has been given with some strictness. The minister said that every decision should be followed so that the corona cases do not bounce.

Significantly, since the start of Lockdown 3.0, as soon as discounts started in some places, crowds of people thronged the streets. After which the concern of the governments increased, liquor shops were seen in many parts of the country including Delhi. Which the administration had to take action to overcome.
