On behalf of the people of village Saifdipur, Nirmal Singh Nambardar, Gurmeet Singh Sarpanch, Manjit Singh Maluk Singh etc. have applied to the canal department and requested the administration to clean the canal passing through their village Saifdipur and release water in it. Jiri often needs a lot of water for irrigation so that the farmers do not feel short of water for ripening their crops. In this regard the residents of the said village Saifdipur in a letter to the canal department also requested to clean the canal and release water in it.
