Patiala (Arvinder Joshan) Parents of students wearing black bandanas protested against the charging of fees by private schools. Meanwhile, parents chanted slogans against the school administrators. The protestors said that the Education Minister had promised not to pay the fees till the hearing in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on June 12. But he does not have full confidence in the court hearing. The spectators said that their struggle would continue till the demand of school administrators for fees was rejected. As per the information, notices have been issued to the parents of the students by the private schools for payment of fees. In favor of the schools, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has allowed the schools to charge only 70 per cent fees. The parents of the students have been protesting against the decision.
