Patiala (Arvinder Joshan) The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India has invited applications for the National Youth Award for the year 2018-19. The award is proposed to be given to eligible individual candidates / youth organizations who have worked in various fields like Health, Research and Innovation, Culture, Human Rights, Arts and Literature, Tourism, Sports, Social Service, Nation Building etc. Giving information in this regard, Assistant Director Youth Services Dr. Mr. Malkit Singh Mann said that the age limit for this National Award to be given to the youth who have played a leading role in various fields should be between 15 to 29 years And the leading candidate will be given Rs. 50,000 in cash, medals and certificates. Two individual names and one organization name are to be recommended at the district level. He said that the date of application has been fixed on 26.06.2020 on the required link (https://innovate.mygov.in/natioanl-youth-award-2018) on the portal of Government of India. He said that for more information in this regard the office assistant director, youth services could be contacted with the Municipal Corporation near Patiala.
