Inflation hit amid Corona crisis, petrol prices go up by more than Rs 3 in 6 days

Chandigarh (Arvinder Singh) Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise. Also on Friday, petrol prices were hiked by 57 paise per liter and diesel by 59 paise per liter. For the last six days, petrol and diesel prices have been rising steadily.In these six days, petrol price has gone up by Rs 3.31 per liter and diesel by Rs 3.42 per liter. Earlier on Thursday, petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the fifth day in a row. In the national capital, petrol was priced at Rs 74 per liter and diesel at Rs 72.22 per liter. After the hike on Friday, petrol price has been hiked to Rs 74.57 per liter and diesel to Rs 72.81 per liter. According to Indian Oil’s website, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have gone up to Rs 74.57, Rs 76.48, Rs 81.53 and Rs 78.54 per liter, respectively.
