Patiala (Arvinder Joshan) The Department of Youth Services and Nehru Youth Center Patiala in association with Patiala Social Welfare Society (Regd.) Today at the local Youth Hostel Patiala celebrated the Forest Festival by planting fruit trees on the occasion of World Environment Day.
On this occasion Assistant Director Youth Services Dr. Mr. Malkit Singh Mann said that since the lockdown of Kovid-19 till now NSS has been operating in Patiala district. Volunteers, Youth Services Clubs and Nehru Yuva Kendra Patiala are conducting regular activities to create awareness among the people about the dangers of Kovid-19.

He said that a large number of youth service volunteers were contributing through emergency blood donation, deployment of volunteers to help the administration, distribution of dry rations to the needy, Arogya Setu app and I Got training.
The Assistant Director Youth Services said that under the Mission Fateh launched by the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to create awareness about Corona, the Department of Youth Services was conducting an awareness campaign through volunteers to make the mission a success so as to stop the spread of the epidemic to go.Today, on the occasion of Mahavan Utsav, Patiala Social Welfare Society also honored the personalities who rendered excellent services during Kovid-19. Nidhi Ahluwalia, Jaswinder Singh and Sheeshpal Singh, Harmandeep Kaur Aulakh District Youth Coordinator Nehru Youth Center, Dr. Rajiv Sharma Modi College, Jagdeep Joshi ITI, Dr. Malkit Mann Youth Services. Mr. Vijay Kumar Goyal, President of the Society and other members of the Society were also present on the occasion.
