Patiala (Arvinder Joshan) As per the orders issued by District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit in Patiala district, the day curfew has been lifted in the district but the curfew is still in force from 7 pm to 7 am including lockdown. The district police is fully prepared to ensure compliance with the curfew.Giving this information, the district police chief S. Mr. Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that during the special checking of vehicles conducted by the district police on May 20, 825 vehicles violating the rules were challaned and 94 were seized. He appealed to the people to follow the orders of night curfew including the instructions of the government and health department. In addition, masks must be worn while visiting public places and action will be taken against those violating the rules as per the provisions of the law.Mr. Mr. Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that Patiala district police has launched a special blockade and vehicle checking operation to maintain law and order in the district. There is a special focus on the resumption of public transport and maintaining law and order with the cooperation of the general public. Apart from this by distributing rations and langar to the needy with the help of NGOs he also helped the people in this hour of crisis.
