Chandigarh (Media Bureau) Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and parts of Uttar Pradesh have been experiencing scorching heat for the past few days and in some places the temperature has risen above 45 degrees Celsius. The people of northern India may get some relief from the scorching heat after May 28. Dust storms and rain are expected in the area on May 29 and 30. This information was given by the Meteorological Department (IMD).The IMD said that hot winds would blow in Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh from May 25-27 and scorching heat is likely in some places. Inland Punjab, Odisha, Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar and Jharkhand will also not get any relief from the scorching heat for the next two to three days.
