Chandigarh/Kaithal (Media Bureau) At around 12 pm, Inspector Satveer had an argument with his sons. The dispute escalated so that the inspector fired his government gun and began firing. The Inspector, who was stationed at the police line, fired two of his sons with his government revolver. Meanwhile, one son died on the spot while another was seriously injured.
After conducting the incident late last night, Inspector Satveer fled the scene. The seriously injured son was rushed to hospital, where he was referred to PGI Rohtak. It is being reported that the wives of both sons came to the rescue but were seriously injured due to falling from the roof.
Prahlad Singh, in-charge of the Civil Civil Lines, confirmed the incident. The accused lives in the seventh police station. Police think the incident is a domestic dispute only. The rest of the matter is being investigated.
