Chandigarh (Media Bureau) According to Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, if any Punjab employee dies in the fight against Corona, an ex-gratia grant of Rs 50 lakh would be given to his family members. He also informed that whether the deceased employee was a regular or a contract or outsourced worker, the Punjab government would provide this facility to him.
The Punjab Government has from time to time been taking major decisions for those fighting against Corona so that they can discharge their responsibilities with full vigor and dedication. This was informed by the Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh in a tweet. He said that Punjab government has always stood by all the employees who are fighting in the war against Corona and all possible help would be given to them by the state.
