Free vaccination camps to be set up in government cantonment ponds and cowsheds: Sachin Sharma

Patiala (Arvinder Joshan) The Punjab Government has decided to provide free immunization to 20 Government Cantt Ponds and about 435 dairies in the state. Disclosing this here today Mr. Sachin Sharma, Chairman, Punjab Cattle Service Commission said that the Punjab Government has decided to set up a camp and vaccinate the cattle free of cost to prevent the disease. And to prevent.Mr. Sachin Sharma said that all the cantonment ponds and cow sheds in the state would be vaccinated by setting up camps in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry Department. He said that the instructions issued by the state government during the lockdown would be followed while vaccinating and the staff would also be instructed to use social distance, masks, sanitizers etc.Chairman Mr. Sharma also directed the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and the Minister for Animal Husbandry to ensure free vaccination of cattle. Thanking Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, he said that even during this epidemic, the Chief Minister and the Animal Husbandry Minister were paying special attention to the care and maintenance of cattle.
